So excited to share these homemade apple fritters with a decadent salted maple glaze. This is exactly the kind of recipe to save for a relaxing fall weekend…you can whip them up for breakfast, a midday snack, or even dessert. The fritters are heavy on the cinnamon and full of sweet caramelized apples. Fried until golden, crisp on the outside, and pillowy on the inside. And then (double) dipped in the silky-smooth salted maple glaze. There’s just no better fall treat to splurge on! Continue reading “Apple Fritters with Salted Maple Glaze”
The simplest spring breakfast: skillet croissant bread pudding with strawberry syrup & fresh whipped cream. It’s easy to make and perfectly indulgent…rich and buttery, yet still light and fresh. Croissants are cut and tossed in a quick vanilla egg and milk mixture, then poured into a skillet and baked until golden with brown sugar sprinkled over top. Serve it with jammy strawberries cooked down in a brown sugar and lemon syrup, plus a large dollop of freshly whipped cream! Continue reading “Skillet Croissant Bread Pudding with Strawberry Syrup”
This frozen greek yogurt with honey & olive oil has been my summer obsession, and I am so excited to share it with you! It’s such an easy, somewhat exotic dessert to make.
I’ve been loving the combo of dark chocolate and nuts, so I wanted to create something that incorporates them both. There’s just something about creamy, smooth chocolate with a little nutty crunch. Instead of making a traditional cookie, I’m keeping it on the light side. Meringue basically consists of egg whites that are beaten until thick. There’s so much you can do with meringue, but I like to just dollop little mounds onto a baking sheet and bake them until crisp. A perfect, somewhat lighter treat if you are craving something sweet.
Sharing a really fun pumpkin cornbread pudding today to really kick off the pumpkin season. Made complete with a sweet cinnamon caramel sauce and festive popcorn!
